Milan GocićPhD, Associate Professor at the University of Nis, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture since 2019, has more than 10 years of experience in teaching and research experience in hydroinformatics, data mining and analysis of hydrological hazards. Author of more than 100 papers out of which 25 were published in international journals with impact factor. He worked as a Guest Editor for the Special Issue in Advances in Meteorology (“Hydrological Hazards in a Changing Environment: Early Warning, Forecasting, and Impact Assessment”) and as a reviewer for twenty international scientific journals. He took part in seven international projects: CEEPUS (coordinator of network “Applied Hydroinformatics”, CIII-RS-1112-01-1617), COST (MC member of COST Action IC1408), CEI (coordinator, ref. no. 1202.008-09), ERASMUS+ CBHE (coordinator, 573806-EPP-1-2016-1-RS-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, 597888-EPP-1-2018-1-RS-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP), coordinator of bilateral scientific project between Serbia and Hungary “Projected Changes of Hydrological Hazards (extreme precipitation and drought) in Hungary and Serbia” (Grant No. 451-03-02294/2015-09/10) and six national projects. He was a member of organization and scientific committees of four international conferences. He took participation in Erasmus+ teaching mobility at the Bialystok University of Technology, Poland and at the University of Architecture, Civil engineering and Geodesy Faculty of Hydraulic Engineering, Bulgaria and was awarded one month scholarship by the OeAD-GmbH.
Michael TritthartDr, Senior Scientist with venia docendi, Department of Water, Atmosphere and Environment, Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and River Research, BOKU – University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria. 19 years of teaching and research experience in: hydraulics, hydrodynamics, hydroinformatics, river engineering, sediment transport, ecological assessment, flood protection, water resources management. Evaluator for Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research and the Slovak Academy of Sciences, reviewer in more than 20 international journals. Published more than 110 scientific papers of which 37 appeared in international journals from Thomson-Reuters ISI list. Lead Guest Editor of a Special Issue on “Advanced Modelling Strategies for Hydraulic Engineering and River Research”, journal Water, and Guest Editor of a Special Issue on “Status and Future of the World’s Large Rivers”, International Journal of River Basin Management. Chair of the Education and Professional Development Committee of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR).
Slaviša TrajkovićPhD, Full Professor at the University of Nis, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Serbia. Head of Department of Civil Engineering. Over 25 years of teaching and research experiences in: water resources management, irrigation, drainage, hydrological hazards. Reviewer of Serbian Commission for Accreditation and Quality Control. Published more than 200 scientific papers of which more than 30 in international journals from Thomson-Reuters ISI list. Reviewer in more than 30 international journals. Lead Guest Editor of the special issue of the journal Advances in Meteorology. Management Committee member for Erasmus+ CBHE (Grant no. 573806-EPP-1-2016-1-RS-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP), COST actions ES1004 and IC1408. Coordinator of CEEPUS network CIII-RS-1112-01-1617. Project Manager of national project (Grant no. TR37003). Awarded one month OeAD-GmbH scholarship. Participated in the Erasmus+ teaching mobility at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Sofia, Bulgaria.
Jelena StankovićPhD, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Nis since 2017. She teaches following courses: Business Finance and Risk Management and Insurance at the undergraduate level, Strategic Financial Management at the Master’s level and Financial Strategy of Corporate Enterprises at the doctoral level of studies.
She is an author and co-author of university textbook, chapters in three international thematic collections of papers and more than 30 papers published in international and national journals and conference proceedings. Her research interests include accounting, corporate finance and valuation and risk management in finance and insurance. International experience in the field of risk management she gained as a DAAD and Erasmus Mundus scholarship holder at the Institute of Mathematical Finance, University of Ulm, Germany (2012) and at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw, Poland (2013/2014).
Since 2009 she participated in 4 projects of the Faculty of Economics in Nis and two international projects (Grundtvig project No. 527860-LLP-1-2012-1-SI-GRUNDTVIG-GMP and Jean Monnet Module No. 611831-EPP-1-2019-1-RS-EPPJMO-MODULE) as a researcher and coordinator. Since 2017 she is associated member of the Serbian Actuarial Association.
Evica PetrovićPhD, Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Nis. She has been employed at the Faculty of Economics in Nis since 1979 and elected a full professor in 2002. She teaches courses at the undergraduate, Master’s and doctoral level of studies in the field of corporate finance and risk management and insurance. 
She is an author and co-author of 5 textbooks and 3 monographs and over hundred articles published in journals and conference proceedings of national and international significance. Her area of expertise covers scientific fields of business finance, accounting and auditing within she addresses the issues of risk implications for investment and financial decisions of enterprises. She has participated in designing large number of various studies, projects and analyses organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Serbia. She is an economic and financial court expert (speciality: accounting and business finance) and trainer in the field of finance and insurance engaged by the Republic Institute for Judicial Expertise ltd. Novi Sad and the Regional Chamber of Commerce Nis.
She has participated in two Tempus and two Jean Monnet projects (No. 544364-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-DE-TEMPUS-JPHES, 543848-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-RS-TEMPUS-JPCR, 574591-EPP-1-2016-1-RS-EPPJMO-MODULE, 611831-EPP-1-2019-1-RS-EPPJMO-MODULE).
During her career she served three terms as a Vice-Dean for Finance and one term as a Dean of the Faculty of Economics in Nis. Currently she holds the position of the Vice-Rector for Finance and President of the Management Board of the Agency for Restitution of the Republic of Serbia.
Ksenija Denčić MihajlovPhD, Full Professor at the University of Nis, Faculty of Economics since 2016, teaching experience since 1995. Teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in the field of corporate finance and international financial management. Author of 3 text books, 4 monographs and more than 50 papers published in national and international journals and presented at the conferences. Participant in three Jean Monnet Projects (528832-LLP-2012-GR-AJM-RE, 574591-EPP-1-2016-1-RS-EPPJMO-MODULE and 611831-EPP-1-2019-1-RS-EPPJMO-MODULE). Research interest: corporate restructuring, corporate governance, sustainability reporting and financing, project management. International experience at many universities abroad (Bergen, Norway, 2002; Lund, Sweden, 2002; Clermont-Ferrand, France, 2008, Maribor, Slovenia, 2008, Wolfenbüttel, Germany 2016/2017). Member of the Interdisciplinary centre for risk management and sustainability, at the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, Wolfenbüttel, Germany.
Mladen MilanovićMSc, teaching assistant, University of Niš, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Serbia. Secretary of the Department of water resources management. Nine years experience of teaching and research experiences in water resources management. Published more than 44 scientific papers in national journals and national and international conferences. Member of national project titled “Development of hydro-information system for monitoring and early warning” (grant no. TR37003), financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Serbia and scientific project of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Branch in Nis, titled “An integral approach to the management of atmospheric waters in urban catchments in southeastern Serbia” (grant. no. 0-15-18). Member of Erasmus+ project: “Strengthening of master curricula in water resources management for the Western Balkans HEIs and stakeholders – SWARM” (grant no. 597888-EPP-1-2018-1-RS-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP). Also, member of Bilateral project financed by the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and Hungarian Ministry of Science, titled “Project changes of hydrological hazards (extreme precipitation and drought) in Hungary and Serbia”. Awarded a one month scholarship by the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education & Research (OeAD-GmbH) in CEEPUS network Applied Hydroinformatics (CIII-RS-1112-01-1617). His research interests are water resources management, irrigation and drainage systems and analyzing of hydrological hazards.
Milica ĆirićMSc, teaching assistant, University of Niš, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Serbia. She has five years of experience in teaching computer science and seven years of experience in machine learning research. Published more than 15 scientific papers in national journals and national and international conferences. Member of national project titled “Research and development of new generation wind turbines of high efficiency” (grant no. TR35005), financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. Her research interests include machine learning, neural networks, time series and recommendation systems.
